Our careers fairs are the perfect opportunity to promote your organisation and connect with our high-calibre students.

Upcoming fairs

We host three fairs every year:

Graduate Jobs Fair 

Wednesday 6 May 2026, 11:00 - 15:00, University of York

This fair is aimed at employers from all sectors, and organisations of all sizes recruiting for graduate vacancies starting in summer / early autumn, and summer graduate-level internships.

Booking Information

You will need to login or register on Handshake to complete the booking form and ensure you are linked to the University of York. Visit the Handshake page for more information. 

We will contact you by email when we've processed and confirmed your booking. We reserve the right to select and decline bookings to ensure we achieve a well-balanced event.

Once your booking is confirmed, you'll be sent practical information and payment instructions. We aim to confirm bookings by the end of March.

Law fair 

The next Law fair will be in October 2026. Registrations will open in July 2026.

This fair is aimed at local, regional, national and international organisations recruiting for training contracts, vacation schemes, insight programmes and paralegal positions.

This fair is aimed at employers from all sectors, and organisations of all sizes recruiting for graduate vacancies, placement years and internships. You can book for one or both days subject to availability.

Fair package and charges

Your stand package will include all the following:

  • A 2m x 2m pitch 
  • Complimentary WiFi
  • Access to a central charging point
  • Lunch and refreshments for up to three delegates
  • Support from our staff on the day
  • Promotion to students on our careers platform Handshake, our web pages, social media and by email

Attendance at the fair is £300 (+ VAT) for a standard ticket, £200 (+ VAT) for SMEs and £150 (+ VAT) for registered charities. Payment is made via our online store. Please note, there will be a £25 administration fee for any invoices raised.

By registering for our fairs, you're committing to attend the fair, pending our approval. This means you will be subject to paying for any late cancellation charges.

If you cancel your booking:

  • Before Wednesday 22 April 2026 you'll be refunded in full if a payment has already been made. If you haven't paid, you will not be liable for paying.
  • After Wednesday 22 April 2026, you will not receive a refund for payments made, and will be invoiced for the full cost of your booking if payment has not been received.
